What are Neurotoxins?

Neurotoxin injections (such as BOTOX®, XEOMIN®, and LETYBO®) temporarily relax the small facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles – the lines that show up when you frown, squint, or raise your brows. Common areas include the forehead, between the brows, and crow’s feet.

Dr. Endo customizes dosing and placement to your facial anatomy and goals so the result looks like you, just softer and more rested.

How do Neurotoxins Work?

Botulinum toxin is a purified protein that’s been used safely in medicine for decades. When it’s injected in tiny, targeted amounts, it blocks the chemical signal (acetylcholine) that tells a specific muscle to contract as strongly.

With less pull from that muscle, the overlying skin can smooth out, softening fine lines and helping prevent deeper creases from forming, while untreated muscles still move normally.

Frequently asked questions

Most people start to see a change within a few days, with full results visible around 7–14 days after treatment.

Results typically last about 3–4 months, depending on your metabolism, dose, and how strong the treated muscles are

If you’re not seeing the expected change after 14 days, we’ll reassess your muscles, dosing, and treatment areas. When appropriate, we can adjust your plan at follow‑up to better match your goals.

Injections are quick and use a very small needle. Most people describe a brief sting or pinch. We can use ice or topical numbing to make treatment more comfortable if needed.
