What is Your Program?

Our medical weight loss program is built around GLP‑1 medications, prescribed and managed by Dr. Endo after a clinical evaluation to confirm eligibility. Your program includes an initial consultation, prescription management, and monthly physician check‑ins to monitor progress, manage side effects, and adjust your plan. Follow‑up visits and any necessary lab work are built into the program so you’re not left to figure things out alone. This is a physician‑guided program, not a one‑time prescription.

Frequently asked questions

GLP‑1 medications are prescription treatments that work with your body’s natural hormones. They support weight loss by reducing appetite, helping you feel full sooner, slowing digestion, and improving blood sugar regulation.

We offer medically supervised GLP‑1 programs that may include medications such as semaglutide, liraglutide, or tirzepatide, depending on your medical history, goals, and availability.  We’ll help determine the safest and most appropriate option for you.

Weight loss varies person to person and depends on dose, lifestyle, and consistency. Many patients lose 10–20% of their body weight over time, especially when GLP‑1 therapy is combined with adequate protein, strength training, and regular follow‑up.

Healthy, sustainable weight loss is gradual. Many patients notice reduced appetite within the first 1–2 weeks and see the scale start to change within the first month.

Most GLP‑1 medications are given as a once‑weekly injection using a very small needle. We teach you exactly how to self‑administer, and most patients find it easier than they expected.

The needle is very small, and most patients report minimal discomfort. Injection sites are rotated and typically include the abdomen or thigh.

Common side effects may include nausea, decreased appetite, constipation or diarrhea, and feeling full faster. These usually improve as your body adjusts, especially with slow dose increases.

Serious side effects are rare but can include severe vomiting, signs of gallbladder disease, or pancreatitis. We screen carefully and monitor you closely to minimize risk and will review warning signs with you before you start.

GLP‑1 medications may not be appropriate if you have a history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, active pancreatitis, certain gastrointestinal disorders, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. A medical evaluation is required before starting.

Muscle loss can occur if protein intake and resistance training are inadequate. We emphasize high‑protein nutrition, strength training, and slow, physician‑guided dose changes. The goal is fat loss, not muscle loss.

Some changes, yes — but not extreme dieting. We focus on adequate protein, balanced meals, and listening to hunger and fullness cues. Most patients naturally eat less without feeling as deprived.

Absolutely. Exercise is encouraged and helps with fat loss, muscle preservation, and metabolic health. Strength training is especially important.

Some weight regain is possible if lifestyle habits are not maintained. Our program focuses on building long‑term habits and supporting metabolic health so you’re not relying on the medication alone. Some patients choose to stay on a maintenance dose; others transition off with a clear plan.

It varies. Some use them short‑term to reset appetite and momentum; others use them longer‑term for ongoing metabolic support. We individualize the plan and revisit the timeline with you regularly.

No. GLP‑1s are a tool, not a cure. Long‑term success depends on habits, education, and support. We are very clear about that from day one

Most GLP‑1 weight loss programs are self‑pay. In some cases, insurance or HSA funds may help with parts of care, but you should be prepared to self‑pay for the program. We’ll review pricing and options before you start so there are no surprises.
