Who is a good candidate for FemTouch?
FemTouch is typically considered for women with mild to moderate symptoms such as dryness, discomfort with intercourse, or light leakage who are not pregnant, not actively infected, and have had appropriate screening (such as Pap smears) as recommended. We’ll review your history in detail before proceeding.
What does treatment feel like?
Most patients describe a sensation of warmth or mild pressure during treatment. The procedure is usually very quick, and discomfort is typically minimal. If you’re anxious or sensitive, we’ll talk through options to keep you as comfortable as possible.
What is recovery like?
You can usually return to normal daily activities right away. We may recommend avoiding intercourse, tampons, or certain activities for at least 48hours to allow the tissue to recover. You’ll leave with clear written aftercare instructions.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Some notice changes in comfort or moisture within a few days to a few weeks of their first treatment. Three treatments are recommended for long lasting effects. Results may vary.
Is FemTouch a replacement for seeing my OB‑GYN?
No. FemTouch is one tool within a broader approach to your health. It does not replace regular gynecologic care, cancer screening, or evaluation of new or concerning symptoms. If anything in your history suggests you need OB‑GYN evaluation first, we’ll discuss that before proceeding.
